Trading Signal Simulator Get the app

Test trading signals before you trust them.

A free Android app for paper trading the signals you find. Enter a forex, gold or crypto signal into a $10,000 virtual portfolio and see what it would have made after spread, slippage and commission.

Free. No real money. No account. Android 8 or newer.

The app's Home screen: virtual equity of $10,161, profit and loss tiles, an Add a signal button and recent gold trades.

A signal's result isn't your result.

Signals quote clean prices. A real fill pays the spread and usually slips, and that gap adds up. Drag the crosshair and watch it.

Choose an example signal

Buy XAUUSD at 2000.00Stop 1990.00, target 2010.00

The signal's sum
+$60.00
In the simulator
+$55.00
Lost to costs
$5.00

Closed by hand at 2006.00. After costs that's 2005.75.

Your simulated fill: 2000.25, not 2000.00.

An example, not a real trade or a forecast. The trade risks 1% of $10,000. Gold here uses the app's default estimates: 3 pip spread and 1 pip slippage. A real broker's prices would differ.

How to test a trading signal

Three steps, with your own numbers at the end of them.

  1. The New signal form with XAUUSD, Buy, Market, entry 2000, stop 1990, target 2010 and 1% risk filled in.

    Enter the signal

Copy it from any channel, group or website. Set your risk and the app sizes the trade.

  2. A simulated gold trade showing open profit of $56, the requested entry of 2000.00 and the simulated fill of 2000.25.

    Update the price

Type in the price from your own chart. The app checks your stop and targets against it. There's no live feed yet.

  3. The Performance screen with net profit, win rate, profit factor, drawdown and an equity curve.

    Read the results

Win rate, profit factor, drawdown and average R, from the trades you simulated and nothing else.

Screens from the app, showing example trades typed in for illustration. They aren't real results.

It tells you when the numbers don't mean much.

Only 3 closed trades. Treat these numbers with caution: at least 30 are needed before they mean much.

That warning is in the app, word for word. A few good trades prove very little, so it says so.

Questions

What is a trading signal simulator?

It's a way to paper trade a signal before you risk money on it. You enter the signal's entry, stop and targets, and the app works out what the trade would have made, using virtual money and estimated trading costs.

Does it use real money?

No. The money is virtual and the app can't place trades. It never connects to a broker.

What does it cost?

Nothing. There are no payments or subscriptions. The app promotes our own Telegram channels, apps and websites, and shows no ads from anyone else.

Where do the prices come from?

You, for now. Type in the price from your own chart and the app checks your stop and targets against it. There's no live feed yet.

Which signals can I test?

Yes, if it's on one of the 12 markets above. You type it in, so it can come from a Telegram channel, a website or anywhere else. Crosses such as EUR/JPY aren't available yet, because they need live exchange rates.

Will a good result here mean I make money?

No. Results are hypothetical, and a real broker's prices and fills would differ. Simulated results don't predict future results, and real trading carries a high risk of loss.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything is stored on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes it. Read the privacy policy.

Is there an iPhone or web version?

Not yet. It's Android only for now, on Android 8 or newer.
