Privacy policy

Trading Signal Simulator is a paper-trading app. It uses virtual money only, places no real trades and holds no real money. It is run by Section Nine, referred to here as "we". This policy covers the Android app and this website.
What the app stores on your phone
Your portfolios, signals, simulated trades, notes and settings are stored on your device. There is no account. Text you paste or share into the app is only read on your device to fill in the form, and it is never sent to us.
Usage statistics and simulated trades
Unless you turn this off in Settings, the app sends us statistics so we can see how it is used and improve it:
- Actions in the app, such as onboarding steps, features used, and which promotions were shown, tapped or dismissed.
- Your simulated trades: market, direction, order type, price levels, size, result, cost assumptions and the signal source you chose.
- A random ID created by the app, plus your app version, Android version, phone model and language.
- Your approximate country, worked out from your connection when the data arrives. We do not store your IP address for this.
We don't collect your name, phone number, email address or Telegram account through the app. Your notes and any text you paste are never sent. Virtual trades involve no real money, and the app has no access to any real trading account.
Crash reports
The Settings screen also has a switch for crash reports, which is off unless you turn it on.
Live prices and promotions
When live prices are on, the app asks our server for prices of the markets you hold trades in, and it also fetches the current promotions. These requests don't include the random ID. Our server and hosting providers process standard request details, such as your IP address, to deliver them. You can turn live prices off in Settings.
Links to other services
The app shows promotions for our own Telegram channels, apps and websites. If you tap one, it opens in Telegram, Google Play or your browser. Those services have their own privacy policies, and what you do there isn't covered by this one.
Telegram channels we run
Our promotions use separate Telegram invite links so we can see which ones work. If you join one of our channels through such a link, Telegram shows us, as the channel's administrator, that your Telegram account joined through it. We use this to count joins and whether people stay, and to see whether people who join later pay for one of our services. This is not connected to the random ID or your trades in the app.
How we use this information
We use it to run and improve the app, measure our promotions, and plan our products and services. We don't sell it. We keep it for as long as it is useful for these purposes, or until you ask us to delete it.
Advertising and payments
The app contains no third-party advertising networks and takes no payments.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can turn statistics off in Settings at any time, and queued statistics are then discarded. Settings also has a Delete my statistics option, which removes what our server holds for your app ID. Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device, and Android's device backup may keep a copy under your own Google account, depending on your backup settings. You can also email us to ask about or delete your data.
This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and has no forms. Its fonts and images load from this site, not from anyone else's.
The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers process standard request details such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the pages and keep them secure. The example calculator runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you do with it is sent to us.
If you email us
We use your email address and message to reply to you, and keep them only as long as we need to for that. We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to, and we don't sell your information.
Children
The app is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
